Covenant work lights are small silver colored lights that are found on the ground during many Halo levels. Most notably is the 343 Guilty Spark (level). At first glance, it would seem that these lights are of the Forerunner origin due to the white light eminating from the device. However, this is disproved by the fact that in Halo: The Flood the author claimed them to be Covenant work lights. Still though, the Covenant is known to take Forerunner objects and use them for their own sheer use. Therefore, the work lights can be one of the collected Forerunner artifacts, although doubtful.
