The Covenant Scavenger Craft was a ship that was mentioned in Halo: First Strike.
Purpose
They were used to push debris into a concentrated region of space over Reach's northern pole.[1] They were described to have long grappling tentacles for dragging sections of salvaged metal.
Trivia
- They are the only known ships to have tentacles.
- They may have some resemblance to the Engineer.
- According to Cortana, there were 217 Scavenger Craft present at Reach.
