The '''light plasma mortar''' is the only weapon of the [[Covenant Empire|Covenant's]] [[Revenant (vehicle)|Revenant]] infantry support vehicle. It is essentially a downscaled version of the [[plasma mortar]] mounted on the Covenant [[Type-25 Assault Gun Carriage|Wraith]]. When charging, the weapon's projectile possesses a bluish tinge, though it is red when fired. It can fire one round every two to three seconds. The Light Plasma Mortar is the primary and only weapon of the light Assault Gun Carriage also known as the Revenant. It launches and looks similar to that of it’s successor the Plasma Mortar, but unlike the Plasma Mortar it seems to charge up bluish and turn a red color once launched. The rate of fire (ROF) seems to be two-three seconds, along with a straighter shot than its successor..[1]
