Template:Character Infobox Burgundy, also referred to as Stickybeak, was a Pelican pilot for UNSC Red Horse.[1]

Biography

She accompanied Sergeant Lopez and Hospital Corpsman Benti and others on a classified mission to the Installation 04's debris field, when the Red Horse's AI, Rebecca, picked up a signal coming from a unidentified escape pod. When the Red Horse picked up the escape pod and Lopez opened it, showing an unidentified man surrounded by blood, Burgundy ran off into the ship. When Burgundy and the others received an order by the Red Horse's CO, Commander Tobias Foucault, to board the UNSC Mona Lisa, she piloted the Pelican that brought them there. When they boarded the Mona Lisa, Burgundy stayed behind in case of the need of immediate evac.

Later, Lopez ordered the marines, Cranker, Maller, Simons, and Sydney, to stay with the Pelican with Burgundy locked up inside. When the the Flood appeared, they launched a fierce attack against the marines outside of the Pelican, which killed all of the marines, save Burgundy. She had examined the firefight with the limited view of the visual sensors of the Pelican, but she didn't see the attackers, nor the marines death and infection.

When the gangplate lowered to show the dimly lit, infected forms of Cranker and Maller, she did not know that they were infected. She had learned the horrible truth too late, and she was severely wounded, but not infected and was harshly brought to the engine room. Later, Benti, Clarence, Henry, and Rimmer saw Burgundy being dragged toward the mass of Flood organisms to be enveloped, when Benti tossed two primed grenades at the mass and destroyed the Flood growth, the engines and Burgundy.
