An unknown being mentioned in the IGN UK description of the Halo Interactive Boardgame[1].

"Two or more players can form teams with 15 sculpted characters direct from the Halo series including Kusunagi, The Prophet of Candor, and of course, Master Chief."

Kusunagi is a Japanese name and the name of a Japanese train line suggesting the character may be a Human of Japanese heritage or it could possibly be a play on words of the name Kusanagi, being a Kusanagi legendary sword in Japan, or alternately, a play on words of the fictional character, Motoko Kusanagi. It could also be a Sangheili character, due to their similarities in their culture to Bushido.
