The Long Run

300px The Long Run is a mucical piece included in the Halo: Original Soundtrack. It runs for 2:14.
This song is also heard slightly before, and during, the "Rolling Thunder" Section of Assault on the Control Room, when the player rides through the tunnels of Halo in a Scorpion Tank.
It also plays during the first part of the Warthog run on the level the Maw, and consists of a repetitive drumroll which is designed to underscore the nature of the escape and to make the player feel a sense of urgency. Template:Halo Music
