Hydra system

The Hydra System is a star system controlled by the UNSC. It was also the location of the Hydra System Massacres.
It was the site of many insurrections, of which the UNSC were not afraid to use nukes to put them down. [1]
It may be an reference to the constellation Hydra, or the famous Greek seamonster, or perhaps it's even be located within the constellation.
