The UNSC Andraste was a UNSC Frigate shown in the art novel Art of Halo 3. It is unknown what purpose it has, but its designation is K-201. 'K' was once a United States Navy hull classification for a corvette but has since been retired.[3]

Trivia

  • The name is likely based on Andraste, a Celtic war goddess.[4]
  • The number '201' is seen on the side of the unknown ship attacking the Ark in the level, 'The Storm' 's ending cutscene. It is possible that this ship is the Andraste. However, the 'Forward Unto Dawn' has the same number designation, meaning that it could be either ship. It is possible the Andraste was the 'FUD' in concept phase.
  • When compared to the Aegis Fate, many significant differences point out that the Andraste is very unlike a Frigate. It may, however, be a Light Frigate.
