The UNSC Midsummer Night was a United Nations Space Command Frigate. Captain Keyes served aboard this frigate prior to 2552, and had then been transferred to the UNSC Iroquois, a destroyer.
The name could be a 17th century recognition and reference to A Midsummer Night's Dream, a play by William Shakespeare.
