Introduction
The Missile Pod is a missile-launching weapon. It can hold up to 8 missiles. Template:WepList
Operation
It is a rocket/missile launcher type weapon and can only carry 8 rounds.
Once picked up the player will appear in third person view. Due to the weapon's weight, the wielder will run at a slower pace. Also, it is said to fairly harder to aim while in this mode.
The rounds are capable of tracking targets. This ability is similar to the SPNKR Rocket Launcher of Halo 2. Bungie has stated that the rocket shells of the SPNKR will no longer have the ability to track targets.

Trivia
- This is one of two current third-person view weapons. The other is the Machinegun Turret.
- The Missile Pod could possibly be the M19-B SAM Missile Launcher that was used by Alpha Company and Beta Company.
