Invasion SPIRE
Invasion SPIRE
Invasion has now been confirmed to take place on Spire, a map not included in the Halo Reach Beta. It will have reverse roles; Spartans will be on the offense trying to capture a tower held by the Elites. Vehicles that will be on this map include: Falcons, Banshees, Revenants, and Ghosts. There will be stationary plasma turrets for use along with multiple snipers for use on the platform and around the battle field. Similar to the Boneyard invasion, there will be 2 optional places to capture in both the first and second phases. The details are unknown, but it will end with the Spartans taking the Data Core to a Pelican on the beach. Or the Elites defending the core until the time limit ends.
Invasion has now been confirmed to take place on Spire. It will have reverse roles from Boneyard; Spartans will be on the offensive trying to capture a tower held by the Elites. Vehicles that will be on this map include: Falcons, Banshees, and Warthogs. Similar to the Boneyard invasion, there will be 2 optional places to capture in both the first and second phases. The first phase has the Spartans attempting to capture one of two shield generators in order to advance to the next phase. The Elites will have two loadouts both secondary weapons being Plasma Pistols, one with Evade as an armor ability and wielding a Plasma Repeater and the other with Active Camo with a Needler. The Spartans only have one loadout, with Sprint, wielding a DMR and Magnum. The second phase has the Spartans attempting to activate the Spire, the Spartans will get a Warthog. If the Spire is activated the Spartans will attempt to take the Data Core at the top of the Spire to a Pelican below on the beach. The Elites will have a Banshee spawn, while the Spartans have a Falcon. The Elites will attempt to defend the core until the time limit ends.
