'''Corporal Lovik''' was the second-in-command of [[Sergeant Johnson]]'s squad in Halo.  It is Lovik's scream you hear on Private Jenkins' video recording.  He is mentioned in the book ''[[Halo: The Flood]]'' by William C. Dietz.
Corporal Lovik led second squad in a recon mission on a Covenant base that included [[Private Riley]], [[Private Manuel Mendoza]], [[Private Kappus]], [[Private Bicenti]], [[Sergeant Johnson]], and Private [[Jenkins]].


He was among the first group of humans attacked by the [[Flood]], and desperately raised the Sergeant and [[Captain Keyes]] over radio, though incoherently. He was infected and later killed in the detonation of [[Installation 04]], or through the exploits of the [[Master Chief]], or possibly by other [[Marines]].
