Rudara is the only natural satellite of the planet Zhoist.[1]

History

When the Covenant colonised the Agni system, they settled the world of Zhoist due to the presence of Forerunner cities - the Ten Cities of Edification. By 2526 they had built extensive infrastructure in the Zhoist-Rudara planetary system, constructing the orbital Ring of Mighty Abundance around Zhoist and many space stations keeping orbit in the Lagrange points of the two celestial bodies.[1]

The moon was given its name by Doctor Catherine Halsey, as she had yet to determine the Covenant's name for the moon.[1]
