It has been stated by Bungie to be the most flexible in forge mode. New Forge Items include Shield Doors, and Man-Cannons, but Bungie has hinted at a few other surprises in store. Foundry is a Halo 3 Multiplayer map. [1]

On 11/19/07, Microsoft released information regarding the first Halo 3 Heroic Map Pack. [1]. The new name for this map will be "Foundry," named for addition of new Forge options which allow players to edit nearly every object. The map pack will retail for 800 Microsoft Points ($10 USD) on 12/11/07.
