The Statis Field Glitch can only be done on Halo 3.

Procedure

The Stasis Field Glitch can be done as you play through the Halo 3 campaign level Cortana and reach the part where you rescue Cortana. Once you enter the room where Cortana is trapped in the Stasis Field, watch the cutscene and once its finished, hit the pedestal where the Stasis Field was, and it should make the 'sizzle' noise that happens when you hit energy shields, but there is no visible Stasis Field.
