The Elite Ascetic Armor is a type of Elite body armor.
Introduction
The Ascetic is the standard armor of the Elite race. It is the opposite to the UNSC MJOLNIR Armor, featuring a dynamic recharging Energy Shield. It is most likely it will be used by the Ascetic group. It will be an armor permutation in Halo 3 multiplayer. Bungie has confirmed all of the armor permutations have no effect on gameplay.

Characteristics
Helmet Characteristics
The Armor similar to the Elite Assault Armor with the helmet looking sealed but has orange eye pieces and strange fan like protrusions underneath these. The protrusions bear a resemblance to armor seen worn by Brutes. It seems to have a jutting jaw section, going further forward that the rim of the helmet.
Shoulder Characteristics
The shoulder pads are a quarter circle shape with two blue lights in then.
Chest Characteristics
Similar to the standard armor, but has a protrusion filling the gap between breastplates.

- Helmet: Steppin' Razor achievement
- Chest: Up Close and Personal achievement
- Shoulder Pads: Overkill Medal (Halo 3) achievement
