Where is it?[edit]

I have had Halo: Evolutions for a while now. But recently I bought the new Halo: Evolutions to read this story. And guess what, it was the same thing, but had less stories. And the only thing added was a story about some San Shyuum's confession on his death bed! As you can see this is very frustrating, just wondering why that is. Vegerot (talk) 16:12, 12 May 2011 (EDT)!

That's because you have Volume II. Soma the Painter is in Volume I. --Courage never dies. 10:58, 14 May 2011 (EDT)

Which is Volume I? Because I have two Evolutions, one of them is a bigger-size book, the other is a pretty small book (the latter of which is the one with the Prophet). Vegerot (talk) 00:45, 15 May 2011 (EDT)!!

Evolutions was re-released in two separate volumes as a marketing scheme. The two volumes each contain half of the original book as well as a new story. Their covers are tinted blue and red, respectively, and say "Volume #" under the title. You have the original version - the full version - and Volume II. Essentially, you have one and a half copies of Evolutions. --Courage never dies. 11:33, 15 May 2011 (EDT)
It seems kinda stupid to spend 8 dollars for a 20 page (approx.) story. Is there somewhere I can read it online? Vegerot (talk) 17:27, 15 May 2011 (EDT)??!
I've checked a few times to no avail. It is only available in the book. I hope that Soma the Painter, Wages of Sin, and the adjunct sections from the novel re-releases will be posted on Waypoint someday, but I seriously doubt that will happen. I'm going to read all this additional content the next time I go to the bookstore. --Courage never dies. 22:53, 15 May 2011 (EDT)
You can read Soma the Painter in the Amazon preview of Volume I, at least; it's quite short. --Document (talk) 15:14, 19 February 2013 (EST)
Doesn't look like that's the whole thing, just part of it. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 15:36, 19 February 2013 (EST)
