I thought it looked more clean. That's all.

It has not been confirmed to be GEN3. I fixed it.

Hello. I just noticed that in the Rakshasa page, the armor is called GEN3. Is been officially confirmed then ? Can I add the Rakshasa and its helmets to the list of GEN3 variants ?

I personally like that not all the armor in Infinite is GEN3. It's cool to have a mix. Besides, as Rakshasa is intended to be partially made from scavenged materials, it would never really be pure GEN3 anyway. The armor descriptions imply it to be Mjolnir, but it has been privately confirmed to us that it is indeed Mjolnir. So, we will be making the "assumption" (even though it's not an assumption) that it is until it's publicly confirmed to be Mjolnir.

I see. Unnecessary complicated if you ask me. If I were 343 I would have put everything under the GEN3 umbrella and be done with it.

Is it at least confirmed that the Rakshasa armor is in fact a true Mjolnir armor ?

PS : I think that someone had confused the Rakshasa page with the armor customization page.

Most of the canon armor in Halo Infinite is likely not GEN3. For instance, the armor on the Mark V [B] core is confirmed to be GEN1 upgraded to be compatible with GEN3. Only the Mark VII core is pure GEN3 (and Chief's armor in the campaign). If you read the armor descriptions for some of the pieces on the Rakshasa core, you'll find things saying that this piece is from some other secret MJOLNIR project, that this helmet is compatible with both GEN2 and GEN3, etc. I bet we'll get a Canon Fodder or something explaining it in more detail soon enough.

Really ? I honestly thought that all the canon armor-cores in the multiplayer were GEN3. I hope 343 will be more clear about this in the future.
