So the IsoDidact (or Bornstellar, I think) was twelve years old when he activated the Halo rings? If that's true, then in terms of age, he would be considered an infant in comparison with the older Forerunners. Don't know if the Ur-Didact's brevet mutation also affected Bornstellar's age though. :In the strictest chronological sense, he would've been twenty-ish when he fired the Halos (there's a few years between Cryptum and the end of Silentium, but no more than a decade); a mutation can hardly affect that. But given the fact he carries the Ur-Didact's pattern and, by extension, his consciousness and knowledge, he is effectively considered to be equal to the original in every way, including age. As Splendid Dust of Ancient Suns put it, (as a retort to Glory of a Far Dawn), "You idiot! He's got the imprint of the Didact! He's ten thousand years to your twenty!" Which does, in turn, raise a question about the Ur-Didact's age: if he literally means that the Didact is ten thousand years old, he would've been awfully young to be the supreme commander of all Forerunner forces in the human-Forerunner wars ten thousand years earlier. Maybe he's just speaking very generally to make a point.--Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 08:31, 29 September 2013 (EDT)

Name change
After looking over his role in the series, while obviously his role as the Iso-Didact is a major part of his character, I feel like the article should be renamed Bornstellar. With it being his original personality, and he later returns to using his old identity after Silentium. So overall I don't think he spends that much time as the Iso-Didact and it should just be mentioned instead of being the page name.--Guardian117 (talk) 07:36, June 15, 2020 (EDT)
