Anyone notice the symbol "FFG-88" in Halo 4s' Adrift Map?

::I also saw it. In the recent IGN of Halo 4 multiplayer maps, they showed Adrift and that UNSC has a new symbol "CFM-88" --Dr Mutran 14:30, 9 October 2012 (EDT)

AC-54
Listing AC as a frigate class makes no sense. Historically, no HCS of those letters has meant frigate - they were attached to a bulk cargo ship called a Collier. I have no idea what whoever "slipper" is run by was thinking when they gave the HCS as AC. Even the people in the IRC seem confused about it. So, I'd hold off on accepting it as official unless there's a concrete confirmation in another log. -- <b><font color=indigo>Qura 'Morhek</font></b> <u><i><font color=blue>The Autocrat</font></i></u> <u><i><font color=purple>of Morheka</font></i></u> 22:14, 21 April 2016 (EDT)
:Part of the Section 3 ARG. Slipper was an alt name for one of the handlers (violentOrkid). I know this 100% as I was there(abit not signed in) but still. Slipper at that time could only be used by 343i at that time due to settings in the chat.(though the record of slipper being exclusive to 343i was only known to the players who set up that) -CIA391 (talk) 22:23, 21 April 2016 (EDT)
::Yeah, I'd say it was a mistake or something, as AC definitely doesn't mean frigate. Maybe he meant freighter? --<span style="color: #2B1AAA;">NightHammer</span><sup><span style="color: #2B1AAA;">(talk)</span></sup><sup><span style="color: #2B1AAA;">(contribs)</span></sup> 22:28, 21 April 2016 (EDT)
:::*She xD(dont worry the section 3 ARG page will have that info ready to use later)
:::Regardless. I presumed that was an error. But its possible the HCS "AC" got repurposed into something else by 2557. That is always possible. Till we do get a mention of the AC HCS again in Halo media then I would suggest keeping it as is. Doesnt ruin a thing in the Halo Universe. And it certainly isnt fan-fiction. -CIA391 (talk) 22:34, 21 April 2016 (EDT)
:Are we even sure "AC-54" refers to the ship's hull classification symbol or if it's simply some other form of designation? --<font color="MidnightBlue"><b>Jugus</b></font> <small>(<font color="Gray">Talk</font> | <font color="Gray">Contribs</font>)</small> 23:54, 21 April 2016 (EDT)
