==Anders,Halsey/Timeline Fanon==
 
After crunching the numbers it looks like Anders would have worked under/for Halsey around [[2528]] at 25 yrs old, finishing her Masters in Theoretical [[Xenobiology]] or similar doctrine till 2530 a 2yr stunt. I'm guessing Halsey had her pulled from school, and asked to join ONI for her expertise. She could have helped Halsey with major chunks of the Covenant research. In [[Dr._Halsey%27s_personal_journal| Halseys journal]] November 3 [[2525]] she writes about Harvest and first contact and the Cov't. This would have been the only way i can see time wise and realistically Anders could have built such a strong understanding of Cov't knowledge tech social symbols. It slides into the timeline from [[Halo_Wars:_Genesis|Genesis]] and her falling out with Halsey and her later abduction in [[2531]] under Halsey's recommendation. 
the only think that throws a wrench in this is the one freaking text bubble from Genesis where the officer says "We've known about them for some time." it implies that Anders has no previous knowledge about them, thought she could be playing dumb or the officer doesn't know of Anders stunt under Halsey because of the secrecy of Halsey's work.
I guess i am wondering if that works or not because i am trying to connect the dots of cannon but their are huge gaps in halo wars to the Halo series. {{unsigned|RussellofSwinhart}}

:Keep in mind that Anders is also above average intelligence, and comes across as very aggressively driven - I doubt she'd let her age stand in her way, and probably started studying for her degree young. The comment by the officer, I think, would be from during the period when the UNSC considered how to deal with the Covenant threat - keep it a secret to stop a panic, or public disclosure to warn people. I think they probably combined the two - revealed that they were under attack by an extraterrestrial civilisation, and some general details, enough to convince people the threat was real and rally them around, but not major concrete specifics to keep the population dependent on the UNSC for protection and to obscure the uglier truths. ==Engaged==
I disagree that she is engaged to a person unless another source brings it up, as she might of been engaged in the context of other research. Or engaged as in another work placement. Pretty much what I am getting at is, there is so many possibility's that it would be wrong to assume that it is a person. Cause I can very easy put the context to any of the other things I said.

Source is Halo Wars Genesis. Page 19/26. When she is kidnapped by ONI an agent states "We require your help to find what these aliens want. I know you're recently engaged, but...your research and YOU...are now code-word classified"
