- It's actually noted in the article that Ackerson is unlikely seeing is supposed death. But to be fair, we never saw Ackerson's death "on screen" but only in supposition and Cortana passively mentioning it even though she was nowhere near Sol System when Ackerson was captured. -- Lord Hyren 04:43, April 8, 2010 (UTC)

Ackerson used the last moments of his life to mock the Covenant, saying that the Key of Osanalan was just one example of how their pompous arrogance would cost them the war, before being beheaded.
