==Blue Team in ''Halo Legends: The Package''==

Hey, should we add the team that participated in the Raid on the Third Fleet of Glorious Consequence here too? I mean, there is still Master Chief, Fred-104, Kelly-087 and a couple other SPARTAN-IIs, but it is still Blue Team regardless, right? And also, I do believe on several different occasions they have had more than just the three we've seen so far (John-117, Fred-104, and Kelly-087) on the screen, but also in the novels too. They've had Linda-058, Kurt-051 (I think, but I could be wrong), to name a couple. So, how about it? ==Main image==
Although it's new, shiny and so on, the [[:File:Halo Escalation 10.jpg|current main image]] doesn't really show each member very well. John and Kelly are good, but Fred and Linda are barely visible. I was wondering if we could replace it, for example by [[:File:HE-Blue Team.jpg|this one]] as it depicts each current member quite equally. The equal representation angle is there, but then again the image you provided (and all comic panels really) look infinitely more flat as the main image than the current one, which is not perfect by any means but it still does show all four members to some degree. == Armor ==

Sooo...Now we can argue about what generation of armor blue team have been using. It seems they got their modern armor back in 2552, before Covenant ivaded Earth. While at that exact moment aboard Cairo station Chief receiving his new old MK6, Blue team  already got these ones. In my opinion 343 made a mystake when they said that Chief's armor plating was upgraded by Cortana. They should have said that it always looked like that and they just redisigned it. And in the years to come while working on Anniversary's 343 should have used model of chief armor from Halo 4. And all other armor blue team using just a variants based on Chief's Mk6. :It's just a concession for the sake of visual storytelling, ie. making Blue Team's appearance consistent with their look in ''Escalation'' and ''Halo 5: Guardians''. Same reason they don't as much as mention Will-043 (which irks me to no end)—because they don't want to confuse casual fans any more than they already do by introducing these previously EU-only characters in the games. And I wouldn't be surprised if the models Sequence used were from ''Guardians'' too. We could argue to no end about what 343i ''should've'' done but we do know the "classic" Mark VI armor is still canon based on ''H2A'' and the [[:File:Mark-vi-gen1.png|somewhat bastardized yet recognizable version]] in ''Halos'' 4 and 5. :I disagree about retconning the armour. I think it could have been seen as (and in my book, would have been) a disservice to Bungie's legacy, replacing the old armour with the new look. As it stands, it's less a replacement than a supplement. The old armour (and era) still exists, and the new armour exists to separate the new era, making it it's own thing. I've grown to really like the new armour - I remember someone from Bungie (it may have been Jason Jones, though don't quote me on that) as saying, during Halo 2's development, that the change from Mark V to Mark VI was to make the Chief feel less like a tank and more like a fighter jet. I think that was a thematic misstep. As a supersoldier, you WANT to feel like a tank, a bulky, powerful, unstoppable juggernaut.

:As for Blue Team - MJOLNIR had a whole bunch of weird development issues and prototypes being field tested years before the innovations made it into the field - shields on MJOLNIR as early as 2531, Mark V tested by Noble a year before the S-IIs got it, Black's odd relationship with the Mark VI look, etc. I'm sure any discrepancies with Blue's armour could be argued as some ONI-developed prototypes, reverse-engineering Cortana's own improvements, hauling out variants that existed but we as viewers didn't get to see before (which is probably the case, since the new Mark VI is meant to be visually reminiscent of an old Mark IV look) or something of the sort. Weirdly enough, I've never had much of a problem with the weird armour issues Halo has thrown up, but I will throw a hissy fit at the idea of a previously unseen Covenant species. Jugus is a better man than I in that regard. :P

:Edit: okay, well I hadn't seen the terminals at the time. Now that I have - yeah, I'm betting they're going to be part of the same set as whatever armour design inspired Cortana's rebuild. I would say that they were originally Mark IV, upgraded with Mark V parts (during First Strike) and then replaced by the original Mark VI before they headed off to Onyx, then switching back to a Mark VI version of their original sets.
