Shouldn't this be called the "Covenant Beacon", even though technically it isn't really a beacon in the literal sense of the word, but just a mining facility that is called a "Beacon". I looked up the word "beacon" in the dictionary, and one of the definitions that popped up was "a radio transmitter emitting signals to guide aircraft". This Covenant "beacon" is not a true beacon in itself. A beacon in Halo would be more along the lines of this device seen in Halo: Reach, of which an article should be made to account for this. Either that, or it is an IFF transponder beacon. Either way, the image needs a home, and also this issue should probably be addressed. --Xamikaze330 [Transmission|Commencing] 11:28, 9 April 2014 (EDT)Xamikaze330

:I had figured the UNSC called it a Beacon because it was tall enough it was easily spotted even in a city, acting like a beacon on a horizon since it was apparent where it was, one of the various meanings of a beacon, being a means of locating something. Not sure why putting "Covenant" in front of it would be any more meaningful than changing entries to "Human Assault Rifle". -ScaleMaster117 (talk) 16:51, 9 April 2014 (EDT)
