System of Miasmic Giants

The System of Miasmic Giants was a planetary system in "the far side of the galaxy" relative to Creck. Before the outbreak of the War of Beginnings, a Sangheili ship was attacked by an unidentified species in the system, leaving 'Crecka as the only survivor, who fled through slipstream space and discovered Shield World 0673. Whether the species inhabited the System of Miasmic Giants, or happened to be passing through at the time, remains unknown.[1]
