In ''[[Halo: Reach]]'', ''[[Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary]]'', and ''[[Halo Infinite]]'' they wear an [[Infiltration harness]] in dark maroon{{Ref/Game|HR}}, black{{Ref/Game|HCEA}}, and purple{{Ref/Game|HINF}} respectively. In ''Halo 2'', ''Halo: Reach'', and ''Halo Infinite'' their harness is embedded with [[active camouflage]].

Special Operations Sangheili are similar to [[Stealth Sangheili]], as they both possess [[active camouflage]] technology.
