The Uprising comic tells us that Master Chief, aboard the Dreadnought at the time, had to get out of the way of the blast radius of the Harbinger of Piety, the ship Ruwan is on when he dies. Because this is on November 17th, 2552, wouldn't that mean Ruwan died on this day? Mdbleach 16:10, 4 October 2016 (UTC)

Surname
I admit that I haven't read Uprising in a long time (so it may contain the answer to my question), but can anyone think of a source that explicitly gives Ruwan's surname as "Ackerson"? As you can see from the top of this discussion page, the article was renamed way back in 2008 by virtue of him being James' brother. However, siblings don't necessarily have the same family name. For all we know, James and Ruwan could be step-, half-, or foster brothers with different surnames. --<span style="color:gray">Our answer is at hand.</span> (<span style="color:gray">Talk to me.</span>) 09:32, 13 June 2017 (EDT)

Ruwan Ackerson

Ruwan's brother is James Ackerson, so shouldn't the article be renamed to Ruwan Ackerson?--UNSC Trooper Unsctrooper small.jpg TalkMy Work 16:28, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

Most of us weren't able to pick up and purchase Halo: Uprising, so we had no idea. Thanks for changing this! File:United Nations logo.pngGeneral Tony, Administrator of HalopediaTalk 8/14/2008

I was just wondering, could his name have any association whatsoever with Rowan Atkinson? Or is the name just a coincidental similarity? --123.243.192.222 14:11, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
