Paul was a civilian reporter for the UNSC.
Background
He was attached to the UNSC Spirit of Fire during the 2526 campaign to retake Harvest from the Covenant. He was sent in order to gain material for UNSC propaganda, but also hoped to find his wife, Carol, and his children there safe and alive at Tigard.[1]
