::I've got to say, even despite me taking a neutral standpoint on this due to my constantly being away from halopedia, I think it Fluffy's defense this did seem very suss. Just that two of them would pop in after a month of inactivity, and both vote for you on the same day (within 3 hours of each other). Furthermore, the Skirt guy made no further edits or contributions which also seems odd (not necessarily a point on its own, but when coinciding with the observations looked as if it had some significance.). I overall though, this was just a large set of coincidences, which seemed irregular due to the fact that the votes could sway the entire HoTM. :After reading all the comments, I've also decided to clear things up (I know Jack did in a way, but I'll lend some support): Jack_Phoenix and Jedimca0 are not sockpuppets. I know both these users personally, and I assure everyone that there is no fraud voting going on (you guys should visit the IRC sometime if you want further evidence). Perhaps bias as co-workers had something to do with the nomination as well as Jack's work? Maybe so, but if we're taking bias into account, we ought to re-consider nominations we ourselves have done in the past out of friendship; I myself admittedly have nominated [[User:Kougermasters|so]][[User:General5 7|me]] [[User:JEA13|friends]] out of my personal favour along with their work. That doesn't mean they didn't deserve it. In fact, isn't it better off to know someone personally when you nominate them for an award? Doesn't that make it easier to judge them? To Smoke: I don't really think that reporting a couple (or whatever the number is) of vandals to the administration is worthy of a HotM. Remember that months ago, when I would report vandals and spam almost everyday to your and Subtank's blacklists, all I would get in return was that lousy argument about me not knowing how difficult handling vandals is. Okay, not to bring up a dead subject, but what is Roy's story? After reading the countless comments above, I can say one thing: what a load of fuss about nothing. Yes, I personally disagree with Jack Phoenix's nomination, for the same reasons outlined by JEA13 and the like, and while Fluffy, Cally and Ultra Force clash for attention, this whole thing is a bit ridiculous. Despite my serious contempt and self-hatred for using this quote, "This is not an aggressive election campaign, this is a friendly vote to see who has give [sic] some great contributions", and thus I advise people to follow the words. Halopedian of the Month has gotten far too controversial the last few months, and it's getting on my nerves; nominees, users and admins alike. All calm down and think for a moment how idiotic and disrespectful a large amount of you are being, and let's try and bring Halopedian of the Month back to its former glory as a friendly, well mannered little vote to give recognition to hard-working users. I dearly hope Halopedian of the Month does not meet the same fate as Halopedia News, Halopedia Warz, the Usergroups and the Halopedia Podcast, as quite frankly, another loss of a community feature such as this, and Halopedia will be a lot less fun. All of what I've just said may not even make any difference, but I thought I'd at least try to reach out to the "masses".
