The flare gun is a human-made handgun that fires signal flares. It has seen service within the armed forces of the United Nations Space Command.[1]

Design details[edit]
The flare gun features a red handle and black barrel assembly. It is typically held in a holster that can be attached to the armor of UNSC Marines.[1]
Service history[edit]
In 2552, several UNSC Marines were equipped with flare guns during the Battle of Installation 04.[2] By December 2559, the Marine complement of the UNSC Infinity were supplied with flare guns, which they made use of during the following conflict against the Banished on Installation 07.[1]
