The '''Far Tower''' was a tower in the [[Covenant Empire|Covenant]] holy city of ''[[High Charity]]''. Its proper name is unknown, "Far Tower" is just a colloquialism used in order to name it.

The tower featured some [[Holotank|Holo-Pedestals]], a [[Gravity lift|Gravity Lift]] and three landing pads for [[Type-52 Troop Carrier|Phantoms]] and dropships. The tower was connected to the [[Mausoleum of the Arbiter]] by a solitary bridge. This is where the [[Prophet of Truth|High Prophet of Truth]] boarded a Phantom to reach the [[Forerunner Dreadnought]] with his captives, [[Miranda Keyes]] and [[Avery Junior Johnson|Sgt. Johnson]].

The tower is also where the [[Prophet of Mercy|High Prophet of Mercy]] was attacked and killed by a [[Flood infection form|Flood Infection Form]], then was denied rescue, and was abandoned by Truth and his Brute guards.

In ''[[Halo 2]]'', it was the second location the player appeared in on the level [[High Charity (level)|High Charity]]. A [[D77-TC Pelican|Pelican]] crashed onto the tower platform and Flood [[Flood combat form|Combat Forms]] emerged from the wreckage, followed by [[Jiralhanae|Brutes]] from a door to combat the newly arrived Flood.
