''[[Halo Wars 2]]'' also features a Scarab, but it sports a nice red coat of paint, showing that it is with the Banished. It has two weapons, both doing great damage. The main cannon is a weapon on the Scarab's "head" and shoots a large, continuous beam that does huge damage, especially on bases. The second is AA guns that pop out of the back and shoot two missiles at a time. These do more damage to air, but any of these two weapons can attack anything, ie. The AA can attack ground, and the main cannon can attack air. This ultimate unit can be built in the armory for 2,000 supply and 2,000 power and takes up 40 population. The Scarab has a special ability that generates a temporary impenetrable shield around itself, making it invincible. It can also traverse any land, uniquely able to climb over walls, and is the only unit to do so.
There is also another varient of the Scarab, the Volatile Scarab. This variant of the Scarab is exclusive to the leader Voridus, and is the same as the normal Scarab, except where it fires it's main cannon it spreads Voridus' special ooz, Infusion. This can damage and slow enemies, but also make your units stronger. These pools of gel stay for a long while, before eventually dissapear. The Scarab is a very rough unit, an to take it out, you need a lot of units. Units like Hornets, Banshees, Vultures, Hunters, and Mantis are very good at taking it out, but siege units like the Kodiak or Blisterback will also be appropriate. The Scarab also has a cool and unique functionality, where when it steps with one of it's four legs, a small shockwave goes into the ground and damages units around it. It does not damage air units. The Scarab has 2 guns
