CT, I believe your deletion of the Talk:Soviet Union page to be unwarranted. The user put up a perfectly legitimate request for deletion of the page. His comment was civil and in line with standard Halopedia practices. Your deletion of the entire page with the summary note "And I support you be quiet." is quite inappropriate. Should you disagree with the suggested course of action, simply vote against deletion using reasonable discourse. After reviewing the article, I came to the conclusion that deletion of the article does make sense and that the commenter's argument was valid. I believe your actions thus far to be an abuse of admin privilege. --Dragonclaws(talk) 20:36, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

77th Marine Regiment
Commander Tony, you do realize that u pretty much just locked the 77th Marine Regiment page for NO reason at all. I'm pretty sure I was correcting it for the better, because after checking it throughly I could see no connection whatsoever Pete Stacker had with that Regiment. Which was the reason I deleted his name from there. When you added it back on, I asked u why, and, fearing I made an error or overlooked something, checked Pete Stacker's page again for any info. Again I could find nothing, and u never responded, so i changed it again. Eventually, you did too, and this led up to you locking the 77th Marine Regiment page (while you re-messed up its facts) and accusing me of starting an edit war, and that whether I was right or wrong, the page should stay like that. Oh, and guess what? Ur not even suppose to lock pages to settle editing disputes; for example, to lock a page on a version he or she prefers in an editing dispute that isn't vandalism (Which I was most defiantly not doing. Even the Halopedia:Administrators page clearly states that. And u have done just that. I agree with Dragonclaws; so far in my opinion, you are abusing ur admin privilege. Please unlock the 77th Marine Regiment Page.

Regarding the Art of Halo 3 edits

First of all I have seen an Abrams, second of all it says it plain and simple and I quote "The Pelican is huge, but it seems that very few people fully grasp its hugeness. This is at least partially due to the in-game view and the relatively small number of people that were ever shown riding in it. But truth be told, you can fit an Abrams M1A1 MBT in the troop bay."

it looks a lot wider then what we see in any of the three Halo games. I do not believe this is something that would be exaggerated. What is said on Page 38 also had to be checked by Robert McLees who is the current holder of the HALO STORY BIBLE, the definitive source of every aspect of the Halo mythology, And he was involved with the book as he is listed in the credits. Durandal-217 04:07, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

No, I was not saying the troop bay of the Pelican is 76 feet in width. What I unfortunately left out is that it is possible for an Abrams to fit inside a pelican if the troop bay has a width of around 14ft. However since there are no solid numbers on the dimensions of the troop bay this is only speculation, though you do bring up a good points about the aft section of the Pelican and the Scorpion M808B MBT. To help provide further clarification into this, I've contacted Stephen Loftus. He has done extensive work on the dimensions of all of the vehicles in the Halo Universe, and I'm interested to hear what he says, I've also asked him if he could provide dimensions of the troop bay for both clarification, and for addition to the Pelican article. Troop Bay

Tony, I finally received a reply back from Stephen and low and behold the Art of Halo 3 is right, this is what Stephen had to say:

"The Pelican is one of my favorite Halo vehicles. I remember recently reading the Halo 3 Art page on the Pelican and recall the stat about the Abrams. I didn't think anything of it as I am well aware of how big the Pelican really is and that fact didn't surprise me. What Bungie means by it is that the overall dimensions of the Pelican's troop bay is close to the dimensions of the tank. I don't think they intended to imply that an Abrams could be parked inside a Pelican as-is. I whipped up a diagram for you comparing the troop bay to an Abrams. The fit is a nice one, but you'd have to remove the seats and remodel the troop bay, but the overall dimensions has the right fit with a little of the tank sitting out the back. If you have any questions about the diagram, let me know. (By the way, the model of the dropship I used is the Halo 2 Pelican, not Halo 3. There's no significant difference in overall size anyway from Halo 1, 2, and 3.)"

The dimensions of the troop bay are L: 9.83M (20.3ft) W: 4.64M (15.22ft)H: 3.23M (10.6ft) Durandal-217 13:22, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

Rudeness

Dear CommanderTony,

Manticore was quite rude to Kougermasters. He called him a whiny fail, and I strongly disagree on that and I think that Manticore was very rude. You can see here what happened:

http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Manticore#Friend_Remove.3F

Please help us to solve this problem.

Yours sinserely,

Template:Nicmavr/sig

On the matter of Manticore, I believe he has been mildly abusing his leadership for a while. No, I am not trying to make him look bad simply because he called me a whiny fail; this was the last straw. You know Manticore's history, and I'm sure as a good friend of his you don't want to confront him, or maybe say something about it. I'm not trying to make a big deal about it, it's just that Nicmavr insisted on telling you about Manticore. Look at Manticore's history. Yes, he is a great and trusted User, he is an admin, an ex-Wikia Janitor, etc. But just because he is so respected and wonderful, does not mean we should turn a blind eye to his faults, as so many have been doing for so long. In fact, I might have to go far enough (I've investigated the subject profusely) to call Manticore arrogant, rude, and just plain unfriendly. He has been taking liberties with his power for quite some time, and I know I haven't been around for that long, that my opinion won't carry much weight compared to the great Manticore, (whom, I have never denied, has done great things for this Wiki), but you have to take his history into account.
Best regards, — Lt. Commander Kouger 23:30, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
PS. I hope I don't sound to immature or whiny, my hands are shaking, and I can't think of words; I'm mildly furious.
PPS. If I'm not mistaken, the admins have received complaints about Manticore before, have they not?
PPPS. I have always been polite to Manticore and I have given him no reason to ever be rude to me. I have always respected the admins, including Manticore. He is a great user and admin, but if he wants enemies, he is going about it the right way. Manticore apparently dislikes and sees fit to ignore simply me because I am a "whiny fail". I won't let anyone be horrible to me without a proper reason, and me being a "whiny fail" is not a good reason.

I insisted. Hm, well I did suggest this should be discussed because this is not what you would expect an admin to say to a user, even if the user was a fail. I don't mean to sound abusive, harsh or harassing to Manticore, but I do think that that was a bit rude of him. What do you think about all this CT? Template:Nicmavr/sig

Well then. Read what he replied on his talk page this time...If you can aid us, please do. This has gone far enough. — Lt. Commander Kouger 09:53, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
PS. By the way, Manticore basically called us [Nicmavr and I] shit.
"Okay this page is officially a shit-magnet. Please GTFO now."
— Manticore

And we all know what GTFO means.

CT, please respond, I don't want to have to take this complaint to Wikia. — Lt. Commander Kouger 00:13, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
