Korea

Do you think it would be better if we just called the article Korea, and mixed both North and South Korean information in there? CommanderTony 18:35, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

The thing is, we don't even know if Korea exists anymore. The UNSC world is not nationalized, which is why Mombasa is part of the East African Protectorate. The nation it is in today (Kenya) doesn't exist anymore in Halo. For all we know, Korea could now be part of the "East Asian Protectorate" or "Western Pacific Protectorate" or something like that. That is true, but on a number of occasions, Songnam, and the Kyonggi Province have been stated, both by Bungie, and in the HGN. So I think the Korea article should stay, but have both North and South Korean information in it, as well as acknowledge the fact that it could be part of a Protectorate. Well, we just got them started today, but we're getting there... I know a bit of German (I can read quite a bit, actually), and I've messaged two native German speakers at Halobase (didn't want to post a new forum, in case they thought it was just spam). Phil.e. speaks fluent Spanish, and he's recruiting more people... and Forerunner and Chief frank 001, for starters, know French. More Mombasa stufflez

As you probably know by now, I'm kinda obsessed with Mombasa and cataloguing everything aboot it, so I was wondering, could you render the entirety of the Outskirts and Metropolis maps in a map editor or something? You know, just an orthographic perspective from above, like all those Google and Yahoo satellite maps... if you can do that, I can merge the two renders and the map from Terminal, and we could have us a really sexeh map of Mombasa. =D --GPT_(talk)^(eating) 07:55, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

HBad, the simple fact is, this wiki is already full of speculation, 3rd grade grammar, and nonsense that is bringing it down. The the IP in question added one line of speculation with an atrocious spelling error to one article, which stayed on the article for almost 4 months. that is not the kind of clientele that will help Halopedia.

I just usually use my one click delete (which puts "spam" as the reason) whenever I'm deleting, for example, a bunch of unused templates and in a previous summary said what the next few deletes were for, or when I'm deleting userpages that are JUST the delete template... I see it as a problem...anyways, it's 12:11 for me (that is, just after midnight), and all contributions to Halopedia since the move are licensed under the GFDL documentation license, that is, they are public domain and can not be claimed by a single contributor or person. It's pretty complicated, and nocturnal unconsciousness enfolds me in its umbric insula. Au revoir! =]
