:I agree. It would make much more sense if it were the UEG Commercial Fleet or the UN Commercial Fleet. As I recall - the reference doesn't have a page number - the fleet is simply called "the Commercial Fleet", not the "UNSC Commercial Fleet". ::After doing a bit of digging (glad I've made some notes on these) "UNSC commercial fleet" is found on page 96. "Commercial fleet" seems  more like a description than an official title though, since it's written in all lowercase. Misnomer?[edit]

Can we get a source on the name, please? The military running a merchant fleet doesn't sound right.-- Forerunner 17:08, 18 April 2011 (EDT)

I agree. It would make much more sense if it were the UEG Commercial Fleet or the UN Commercial Fleet. As I recall - the reference doesn't have a page number - the fleet is simply called "the Commercial Fleet", not the "UNSC Commercial Fleet". Is a move in order? --"Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have." -Thomas Jefferson 22:39, 18 April 2011 (EDT)
After doing a bit of digging (glad I've made some notes on these) "UNSC commercial fleet" is found on page 96. "Commercial fleet" seems more like a description than an official title though, since it's written in all lowercase. As for the UNSC operating a merchant fleet, I've always seen the UNSC as more of an all-encompassing institution even though its primary purpose is military. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 02:19, 19 April 2011 (EDT)
