I thought so too, but it was never confirmed. It could also have been Jenkins. So for lack of solid proof, I never changed this article. -ED 00:13, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

If you watch The Day at the Beach video one of the marines is called O'Brien perhaps he was one of the marines that survived Halo but then died during the 1st battle of Earth.
