Considering how many Hungarian-based names are in use in terms of Reach geography, I would submit (and speculate) that the use of "BARS" in the tactical info from security cameras is in fact supposed to be an abbreviation for [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baracs Baracs] rather than literally "Bars". Other abbreviations are used in these Tactical callouts throughout the game, such as VISGRD, SZURDK RDG, ÜTKZT, FARKS LK, EPSZ, or NW ALXDRA. We don't take those as literal spelling, but as abbreviation.
