The Tala system is a formerly Covenant-held planetary system containing at least four planets. The fourth planet in this system is Balaho, the Unggoy homeworld. The system's blue star is named Tala, hence the system's name.[1]

Trivia[edit]

In Tagalog, "tala" means "star"; this is similar to a number of Unggoy-related names (e.g. "Unggoy" and "Buwan"), which are derived from Tagalog.
