Anyway thanks for the help on this i have tried mailing a few other admin. and didn't get a response. I will be sure to double check sources next time.

My source for the BR55 was the original Halo 2 User guide that had the new weapons and vehicles in it. It said that the BR55 fired 7.62mm rounds.

Also, the reason I asked for a source is because even though that information is technically wrong, Bungie/343 Industries has screwed up before and it might actually be canonically correct.

I didn't say you didn't have anything useful to add, just that that particular information you added was incorrect. I have no idea what you tried to add to the UNSC Army article, and to be honest I probably don't know enough to verify or refute any information you did add to that article.

However, I work on and shoot firearms (in particular, AR rifles) as a hobby. I tend to go over those articles and make sure that they are correct from a technical perspective. That is why you ran into me when editing the BR55 articles.

I do understand why you changed. My question I guess is where are these sources. When it comes to the differnet round I know alot about weapons trust me and I do under stand your reasoning for leaveing it the way it is.

Your information is not solid. I told you why.

First of all, fix your tone. No one is getting "bent out of shape" except for you right now. Go see the talk page and read why I reverted your edits.

Seeing as 7.62 NATO is quite a bit longer than the 9.5x40mm, it will take more than a simple bolt and barrel switch to interchange rounds; the receiver would need to be lengthened because the magazine well isn't long enough to feed 7.62 NATO rounds.

Look I do not see the big deal in my edits. I do not get why so many of you people get bent out of shaoe when things get changed. My Info. was solid and there was no need for you to try and block me from editig a page. My question to you is if you are so high and mighty on sources then please tell me where they are so i can properly edit page. As most of my source are from the Halo books and from old game manuals and gouide.
