Render to Video will be a new add-on feature for Halo 3 from Bungie Studios allowing players to capture in-game moments and upload them directly to their computers. Many aspiring Machinima makers are awaiting this update.
Announced
"Render to Video" was announced around October 2008.Template:Fact It has been announced by Bungie to become a way to transfer your Halo 3 videos or screen shots from your Xbox 360 hard drive to your PC.[1]
It has not been confirmed on whether or not it will be available to Mac users.

Rumors
- The beta has been rumored to be released for Bungie workers around early of the week of December 7-13, but this has not been confirmed.
- The most popular rumor circulating around Bungie.net, is that it should be released around early 2009.
- Another rumor, which may have a bit of proof, is that it will require a subscription to Bungie Pro.
Trivia
- Render to Video may be released around the beginning of 2009, along with the Mythic Map Pack. A beta may have been released for Bungie members early in the beginning of the week of December 7-13 (Date Already Passed)
- They are still testing it internally, as it is a big deal and will take some time.
- A release date has not been specified yet.
