Hello, Oracle Newsletter Volume V, and once again, the Oracle bids thou tidings in this release of the Oracle Newsletter, for the week of February 18, 2007!

Wha's goin' on?

  • Once again, Bungie's done quite a bit this week. They've officially started their advertising campaign for Halo 3, recorded loads of combat dialog, and added more realism to the way weapons affect the environment. Also, they've released plenty of information on the controls for the new game, although they still aren't saying what the X button does...
  • Bungie has delayed the Humpday Challenge! The match will be rescheduled eventually, when they aren't testing Halo 3, and the results will be posted soon after. After the match, not the reschedulation.
  • 138 days remaining until the release of the renowned Halo 3 in November...

Local news

  • The Halopedia Forums are fully operational! Want to talk about Halo but can't put it in articles? Just start a new thread there! Many thanks to Darth tader, RelentlessRecusant, and once again, Ed, for getting them online!

Rotaretilbo (\'ro'terətil'bo\ or you could just call him Rot) is the distinguished community member of this week. He has been on Halopedia for two months, but already has three awards, and has righteously earned the title of Resident Walking Starship Encyclopedia. He is also in first place for the Cortana Competition...the brightest of us all in Halo knowledge! You can speak to him at his talk page. Once again, meet Rotaretilbo!
