The Ministry of Kindly Subjection was one of the ministerial bodies that formed the Covenant. The ministry served a diplomatic purpose. During the Sangheili-San'Shyuum war, the San'Shyuum Minister of Kindly Subjection's purpose was largely theoretical with little work ever needing to be done. When the war was over, the ministry's importance increased significantly. In 851 BCE, the ministry was called upon to help deal with the insurrection led by Sangheili Ussa 'Xellus. During and after the Sangheili-San'Shyuum war, the Minister of Kindly Subjection was GuJo’n.[1]
