A kryn'qodon is a semi-avian, flight capable animal native to Sanghelios, the Sangheili homeworld. The primary habitat of the kryn'qodon is the clefts and ridges in the more desolate upper-reaches of the Nuusra territory on the continent of Qivro. The kryn'qodon prey on fist-sized dust mites from crevices in stone façades, as well as scavenging carrion.[1]
