Summary
Jersey Morelli is a character in I Love Bees. He is an 18-year-old civilian living in his mother's apartment on Earth. His father, nicknamed the Castaway, is a Corporal in the ONI signal corps. His mother, Bonita, works as a waitress at a hotel and is often away from home.
Jersey has a laid-back, easy-going personality. He enjoys listening to 20th century jazz music, particuarly the pieces his father likes. He lives in the same building as Janissary James, and they share the same friends.
In the year 2552, Jersey's home computer was invaded by a confused fragment of Melissa, a top-class AI from the spyship Apocalypso. He named the fragment Durga, thinking that it suited her. Durga could only remember that she liked to find things out, so Jersey asked her to get info on Jan. The AI compilied extensive audio files from the chatters of people around her, building a picture of her life.
Trivia
Early in production, Jersey's name was once Singh.
