The Wraith is the covenants tank it was made to rival the human scorpion tank it has a mounted plasma mortar for lang range attacks and a manable turret for close protection the Halo 2 version has built in plasma cannons. There is also the  AA wraith which is similar but fires fuel rods at aircraft instead of a plasma mortar, yet has been proven in the [[Halo 3]] campaign to be very powerful against vehicles.
