The Halo 3 Essential disc is exclusive to the Halo 3 Legendary Edition. It includes hi-def remastered version of cinematic materials from "Halo: Combat Evolved" and "Halo 2" with optional commentary from Frankie, Marty and Joseph Staten, a featurette documenting a day in the life at Bungie, axclusive contents from "Red vs. Blue" and "This Spartan Life", the original storyboard from Bungie artist Lee Wilson.
