The Full Disclosure Directive is a Unified Earth Government protocol concerning the release of information to military personnel. Section IX, Article 3940.2 of the directive requires that information concerning standard-issue weaponry be included as part of a SPARTAN-IV's introduction into their service role aboard UNSC Infinity in the Spartan's briefing packet, prior familiarity with the weapons notwithstanding.[1]
