Flood Super Cell

The Flood Super Cell[1], often abbreviated as the Flood Super Cell or the FSC, is an undifferentiated cell type that serves as the basis of all Flood biomass.
It can be described as a "thinking muscle" and closely resembles neurons or glial cells in structure. The Flood have demonstrated on numerous occassions that they have the ability to arrange these FSCs to mimic any organ they might need.

The entity that communicates with Mendicant Bias in the third Halo 3 terminal on Legendary is named LF.Xx.3273. This confirms suspicions that the entity that convinces Mendicant Bias to betray the Forerunners was, in fact, the Flood itself. Template:Spoiler End
