Name
The "Garden of Eden" is a reference to the place of the same name in the Genesis section of the Bible. There, life was created.
In Halo context, after life nearly died and began restarting, the Humans would have thaught of it as a garden where life BEGAN, rather than a garden created by a creature from a time where life Died.
