The Beatrice was an old ONI prowler, Chiroptera-class. It was decomissioned in 2512 along with all other vessels of its class. It had been refitted for luxury, with many features the military would never have tolerated, such as cushioned seats and even cupholders. They contained brand new plasma coils from a Behemoth-class tug.
In 2552, Governor Jacob Jiles of the Eridanus Rebels came into posession of this ship, and he used it as his personal ship, as well as "flagship" of his improvised fleet. Dr. Catherine Halsey stole the ship and left via slipspace.
Halsey navigated the Beatrice to Onyx, where she was attacked by three hundred twelve Sentinels. The sentinels forced the ship to crash on the surface of the planet, unable to fly again. It was likely destroyed after the planet exploded in The Battle of Onyx.
